Privacy and Data Policy
- Devidoll makes a commitment to protecting your privacy and will only to use any information collected about
you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
- When you place an Order, Devidoll may ask you for certain information and you may submit personal data
to the Devidoll website (for example your name, phone number, postal address, email address, contact and
bank/credit card details). Devidoll may also record which Products you are interested in and which Products
you purchase as well as customer traffic patterns and website use. This information will be kept securely in
accordance with Devidoll’s internal security policy and may be used to:
- process your Order;
- provide you with an up to date, efficient, and reliable service;
- help fraud prevention i.e. Devidoll may check card details with its credit agency and reserves the
right to refuse Orders on that basis (your credit rating can be checked for a nominal fee with the
main UK agencies Equifax and Experian);
- open and run your account;
- provide a more personal shopping experience.
- By making an Order and submitting your data you agree to this use.
- From time to time Devidoll may also monitor and record telephone calls for training purposes and to improve the service to you.
- Devidoll will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
- In Order to improve the Devidoll website, Devidoll may use a device known as a ‘cookie’. Cookies are a
means by which information relating to your Internet activity (such as whether you have visited the Devidoll
website before) is recorded on your hard drive.
- If you do not wish for Devidoll to use cookies when you use the Devidoll website please adjust your Internet
browser settings to not accept cookies. Your computer’s help file should tell you how to do this.
- Unless you disable “cookies” the Devidoll website will ask for and store Order and delivery details including
name, address and bank details and may automatically insert certain information on the Order forms so
that you can use the Devidoll website with the minimum amount of form filling.
- Devidoll operates an opt-in policy for communicating via email, post and telephone. By signing up to our
mailing list/updates, you are opting in to receive communications by email. However, whenever you are
contacted by Devidoll after this, you will have the opportunity to opt-out of the mailing list. Devidoll will
always give you the opportunity to choose which method of communication you prefer. To opt-out you can
always also email contact@devidoll.com, citing ‘please unsubscribe me’ in the subject box or write to us at
our postal address.
- Devidoll will never share your information with any third parties.
- If you have any questions or comments about privacy or the Devidoll privacy policy, or if you already have
submitted information that you do not wish the Devidoll website to have or if you think that Devidoll has
cookies or data about you that you do not want Devidoll to use or that is incorrect please contact Devidoll at
the address above or by email (contact@devidoll.com) and the information will be corrected as soon as
possible or removed from its database as you request.
